Anya Gurholt

Anya Gurholt currently serves as a Supervisor for the San Francisco Unified School District, overseeing programs aimed at increasing college enrollment among underrepresented students. Previously, Anya Gurholt was a Program Administrator and Assistant Principal within the same district, where she collaborated with educational stakeholders to improve career pathways aligned with regional workforce needs.

In the Oakland Unified School District, Anya Gurholt taught career technical education, provided instructional coaching,  and led professional development initiatives. Anya Gurholt is also a certified yoga instructor, integrating mindfulness and wellness into her educational approach, ensuring a balanced and supportive environment for both teachers and students.

She holds a Master’s in Education from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor’s in Education and Social Studies from Westminster College. She has been trained in AVID, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and Adaptive Schools Cognitive Coaching.
