Profession: Educational Leader

Anya Gurholt, an accomplished educator, school administrator and district leader, brings extensive experience in promoting college and career readiness in public schools. She has been with the San Francisco Unified School District since 2019. She currently serves as a Supervisor, focusing on increasing college access and apprenticeships for historically underrepresented students. Anya Gurholt’s prior roles in the district include Program Administrator and Assistant Principal, where she enhanced career pathways and provided instructional coaching.

Her earlier work in the Oakland Unified School District involved coaching teachers and school leadership teams to develop and improve college and career pathways. She also has extensive experience facilitating professional development on topics such as project-based learning, interdisciplinary curriculum, and social-emotional instructional strategies.

Anya Gurholt earned her Master’s in Education from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor’s in Education and Social Science from Westminster College.

Her professional certifications include: University of California Curriculum Integration Facilitator, Linked Learning Coach Certification, and Clear California Administrate & Teaching Credentials.
